It uses the principle of thermal expansion and contraction technology and has an induction coil that precisely heats the area of the tool inserted in the shank. After the tool is inserted, the coil is allowed to cool for a period of time, and after the shank has cooled down, it is clamped tightly to the shank by its contraction force. Tools clamped by thermal expansion and contraction have a high clamping force and can withstand high torque. Sintered shanks offer high accuracy, high speed, and high strength for precision grade machining.
